The cost of 24 karat gold per tola significantly increased, jumping by Rs 5,600 to reach a selling price of Rs 215,000 on Tuesday from its prior price of Rs 209,400, this was a substantial increase.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold increased significantly, rising by Rs 5,058 to Rs 184,585 from Rs 179,527. According to the All Sindh Sarafa Jewellers Association, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold increased as well, rising to Rs 168,967 from Rs 165,544.
Additionally, the price of silver per tola increased marginally by Rs 50, rising to Rs 2,550. The price of 10 grams of silver has also increased by Rs 42.87, rising to Rs 2,186.21.
In contrast, the international market saw a slight dip in gold prices, with a $15 decrease, bringing it down to $1,911 from $1,926, as reported by the Association.
