Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader and former interior minister Rana Sanaullah has shed light on the apparent frustration of Daniyal Aziz over a provincial assembly ticket, revealing internal tensions within the party.
Rana Sanaullah mentioned that Daniyal Aziz is expressing discontent over the provincial assembly candidacy. Allegedly, Aziz desires Owais Qasim to contest the election while Ahsan Iqbal’s son has also sought candidacy for the same seat.
However, the PML-N leader expressed confidence that the issue between Aziz and Iqbal will be resolved soon. He questioned Aziz’s sudden concerns about inflation after a lapse of 16 months.
Taking a jibe at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan, Rana Sanaullah criticized the continuous shifting narratives, ranging from allegations of General Bajwa’s involvement to American conspiracies and the so-called “London plan.”
He attributed the upheaval on May 9 to Imran Khan himself, highlighting the discrepancies within the PTI. The former minister emphasized that while others were being incarcerated, Imran Khan, who once held a favored position, now finds himself in Adiala Jail.
