Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq said on Tuesday that there is a "great opportunity for the masses to change the destiny of the country on February 8.
Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Haq assailed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). "The three political parties are responsible for dragging the country into a quagmire."
"It is due to the ill-planned policies of the rulers that led the country to inflation and unemployment," Haq said.
– Siraj says rulers carrying on 'legacy' of East India Company –
Few days back, Haq assailed the political opponents, asserting the rulers are carrying on the "legacy" of the East India Company.
Addressing the convention in Peshawar, Haq took a swipe at former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari. ‘’The PPP had ruled the country for four terms.”
‘’The PML-N had come to power on a regular basis,” he added.
Speaking about self-accountability, Haq said, “I am ready for self-accountability in 2023. Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz, and Asif Ali Zardari should also be ready for self-accountability.”
“Those who had put the burden of loans on the masses are now once again trying to impose themselves on the masses,” Haq said.
