The President’s letter on the impending general elections has been received by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in writing.
President Arif Alvi's letter was swiftly called after being received by the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), who then called a key Commission consultation meeting.
The ECP Secretary and the Director General of Law were given instructions at this meeting to quickly review the letter's contents.
