Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Siraj ul Haq on Thursday hoped that the country will witness a "revolution" on February 8.
Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Haq bemoaned the political landscape. "The country did not gain independence to witness the staging of "dynastic" politics. The huddle in which the relatives sit together is known as the parliamentary meeting in the country's political scenario."
He underscored the importance of uplifting the Islamic political system in the country. "The purpose of gaining independence was to impose the Islamic system on the country," he said.

Haq urged the masses to cast votes for his party in a bid to see the uplifting of the Islamic political system in the country.
– Great opportunity' for masses to change country's fate –
Few days back, Haq said on Tuesday that there is a "great opportunity for the masses to change the destiny of the country on February 8.

Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Haq assailed the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). "The three political parties are responsible for dragging the country into a quagmire."
"It is due to the ill-planned policies of the rulers that led the country to inflation and unemployment," Haq said.
