Utility Stores Corporation (USC) has announced major reduction in prices, focusing on essential cooking ingredients, to alleviate financial burdens on consumers across Pakistan.
The corporation announced a substantial cut in the prices of branded ghee and cooking oil at all its outlets nationwide.
The spokesperson for the Utility Stores Corporation highlighted the considerable reductions, stating that the price of ghee has been slashed by Rs 17 per kilogram. The initial rate of ghee, previously set at Rs 499 per kg, has now been adjusted to a more affordable Rs 482. Additionally, the price of cooking oil has notably decreased by Rs 48 per kilogram.
Effective immediately, these revised prices have been implemented at all Utility Stores Corporation outlets throughout the country. The move aims to directly benefit consumers by providing more accessible rates for essential kitchen commodities.
Moreover, the Corporation is actively exploring avenues to further reduce prices on various other vital commodities. The ultimate objective is to enhance the affordability and accessibility of essential goods for the general public, fostering greater ease and convenience in their daily lives.
