Former Pakistan coach Mickey Arthur voiced his concerns over the snub of batter Haider Ali from the ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Taking to X (formerly Twitter ) on Thursday, Arthur rallied behind the 23-year-old cricketer. “Haider Ali is a very good player who needs clear role clarity and backing,” he said.

He also commended Ali’s potential, saying, “There is so much potential in him.”
“I can’t believe a franchise has not given him a spot,” Arthur maintained.
Apart from Ali’s snub, other players, including Ahmed Shehzad, were also not being picked up by any of the franchises in the PSL 9.

Pakistan cricketer Ahmed Shehzad expressed on Thursday his disappointment for not being selected in the next edition of the PSL.
Sources divulged that Ahmed Shehzad had contacted people close to him in line with his future cricketing career.
