Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Friday decided to become parties against the Lahore High Court’s (LHC) verdict regarding the returning office (RO).
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif and PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif had given the party a green light. The PML-N’s legal team had prepared the petition in this regard.
The Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) had also decided to become the party in the LHC general election case.

BAP President Nawabzada Khalid Magsi had instructed the legal team to file the petition in this regard.
– SC to deliberate urgent hearing for elections case –
Meanwhile, the SC is expected to hear the case related to the general elections on Friday (today).
Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja appeared before the SC today, where he had a crucial meeting with Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa. Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awan was also present during the meeting.
On this occasion, SC Justices Sardar Tariq Masood and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan were also present.
Following the meeting, Attorney General Mansoor Usman Awani left the SC premises.
