Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart Hamza Shehbaz felicitated the Christian community on Christmas.
He commended the services rendered by minorities in a bid to uplift the country. “The minorities, in particular the Christian community, served the country with great vigour,” the former Punjab chief minister said.
“The occasion provides opportunity to embrace brotherhood and uplift the spirit of sacrifice for one another,” he said.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwarul Haq Kakar underscored the safety and equal rights of all minorities in Pakistan, affirming their constitutional guarantees.
His remarks came during his attendance at a Christmas event in Islamabad, where he also participated in cake-cutting festivities.
Expounding on the inclusive ethos, Kakar reiterated the obligation to honor all Prophets from Adam to Muhammad, emphasizing Quaid-e-Azam’s prescient vision in establishing an independent Muslim state amid the rising Hindutva ideology.
