A passenger en route from Karachi to Islamabad tragically passed away at Jinnah International Airport’s lounge, Samaa TV reported on Friday.
The deceased, identified as Muhammad Fayyaz, was traveling with his family.
The unfortunate incident unfolded on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, when the Fayyaz family arrived at Jinnah International Airport to catch their flight to Islamabad. However, shortly after entering the airport lounge, Muhammad Fayyaz's condition took a sudden turn for the worse, prompting immediate medical attention.
The Airport Health Department swiftly deployed a team of doctors to assess Mr. Fayyaz's deteriorating condition.
According to the initial medical reports, it was revealed that the deceased passenger was already suffering from jaundice, a liver condition that can cause severe health complications.
His deteriorating health, coupled with the strain of travel, seemed to have exacerbated his condition, ultimately leading to this tragic outcome.
