Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Hamza Shehbaz launched the election campaign on Monday.
Addressing the public gathering in Lahore, the former Punjab chief minister took a swipe at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, saying, “The country would have defaulted if the PTI founder was not ousted from power.”
At the outset of his speech, Hamza Shehbaz said, “The passion of the women and party workers is overwhelming. It is a matter of immense delight for me to be considered the worker instead of the chief minister.”
Hamza Shehbaz said: “During his tenure, the PTI founder made the promise to create 10 million employment opportunities for the masses. But none of the promises had been fulfilled.”
