In spite of terrorising his rivals on the football pitch, the iconic footballer Cristiano Ronaldo is renowned for harbouring a soft spot for his mother, Maria Dolores Aveiro.
For her 69th birthday, Ronaldo flew in from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to Madeira, Portugal, on December 31st.
According to media reports, Ronaldo did not just make an appearance without a gift.
The star footballer generously gifted his mom a brand new Porsche Cayenne and then treated her to an extravagant dinner at a sophisticated restaurant.

Ronaldo provided fans with a glimpse into the celebratory evening on social media, where Georgina, her sister, and his brother and sister-in-law joined the festivities for an elegant dinner.
"What a special night to conclude a truly special 2023! Family is everything," he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
Even at the age of 38, the Portuguese powerhouse continues to dominate on the pitch, concluding 2023 as the year's top scorer with an astonishing 54 goals.
