On January 3 alone, a total of 785 Afghan citizens made the journey back to their homeland. This figure comprised 267 men, 195 women, and 323 children.
This recent surge adds to the already substantial 458,046 illegal Afghans who have chosen to repatriate since the start of record-keeping, indicating an ongoing, large-scale movement back across the border.
According to reports, 82 families, utilizing 47 vehicles, made the trek on January 3, illustrating the organized nature of some of these individual departures.
