The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) on Friday killed two terrorists of the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in Jafarabad district of Balochistan.
According to CTD Spokesperson, CTD Khuzdar conducted an operation against Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in Jafarabad area.
Secret information was received that the commander of the banned organization Siraj Bhattar and others had assigned the task of carrying out the heinous act of terrorism in Khuzdar to one of his close associates. After which planning was done by CTD.

The vicinity of Jafarabad was cordoned off, and the suspects’ movements were watched. Two people on a motorbike who had a rag over their faces while conducting the inspection were indicated by the troops to stop at the bridge when they abruptly opened firing. In retaliatory fire, both terrorists were killed on the spot.
Arms, ammunition and explosives have also been recovered from the possession of the dead accused, including a Kalashnikov, a pistol, 2 hand grenades, Prima Card, 5 kg of explosives and other items.
The terrorists’ remains have been sent to Khuzdar Teaching Hospital for an autopsy, the officials claim. While efforts are underway in several locations to apprehend additional terrorists, the incident will be officially documented at CTD Khuzdar.
