Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) senior leader Faisal Karim Kundi said on Sunday that the political opponents know that former foreign minister will become the next premier.
Expressing his thoughts in Islamabad, Kundi said, ''The environment is getting ideal for the general elections. Some of the people had been afraid of the expected verdict of the masses.''
''Nobody can stop the masses from electing the government at will,'' the PPP leader said.
Kundi said, ''We have countered the terrorism in the general elections of 2008, 2013, and 2018''.
''The masses want the leadership, who has the courage to deliver,'' he said.
– Fazlur Rehman wants to escape elections –
Few days back, PPP spokesperson Faisal Karim Kundi asserted that Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman wants to escape elections by making excuses for the country’s situation.
Expressing his thoughts in Dera Ismail Khan, Kundi said: “We want the conduct of the general elections in a peaceful way. There can be political differences, but there is no chance of personal differences.”
''We will have to bludgeon the opponents by uniting everybody,'' he said.
