On Monday, the fluctuating gold market in Pakistan witnessed a decrease, with the price of 24-karat gold dipping massively by Rs1,900 to sell at Rs216,100 per tola.
According to gold dealers, the rate of 10 grammes of 24-karat gold also depreciated by Rs1,629 and sold at Rs185,271.
These fluctuations are closely tied to changes in the value of the US Dollar, highlighting the intricate relationship between currency values and gold prices.
Meanwhile, 10 grammes of 22-karat gold was available for Rs169,832.
On the other hand, the price of 24-karat silver remained stable at Rs2,660 as well as that of 10 grammes of 24-karat silver at Rs2,280.52.

On the global stage also, the gold price fell by $18 to settle at $2,047 per ounce.
