Indian media outlets ‘praised’ Pakistan’s retaliation with strikes on militant targets in Iran in which seven people were killed. Almost all prominent Indian media news websites and media groups covered Pakistan’s strike back in Iran as their top story.
New Delhi TV—NDTV—reported that the retaliatory strikes came days after Iran attacked "terrorist targets" in Pakistan, an attack that Islamabad claimed killed two children.
NDTV quoting Pakistan’s Foreign Office reported Pakistan also said that it shared multiple dossiers with concrete evidence of the presence and activities of these terrorists.
The Hindustan Times also reported Pakistan's successful strikes under 'Operation Marg Bar Sarmachar'. The HT also quoted India’s MEA that India has called the tensions a matter between Iran and Pakistan.
Indian media also reported the summary of reactions from China and the United States. The Hindu reported that Pakistan conducted strikes against militant groups in Iran.

The United States has condemned Iran's strikes in Iraq, Syria and Pakistan. US Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller said: “We do condemn those strikes. We've seen Iran violate the sovereign borders of three of its neighbors in just the past couple days. And I will say that the difference in the context very much matters. I think it is a little rich for at one - on one hand, Iran to be the leading funder of terrorism in the region, the leading funder of instability in the region; and on the other hand, claim that it needs to take this action - these actions to counter terrorism.”
Miller, however, had hoped for a peaceful resolution of the conflict. "We think, we hope that that's an issue that can be peacefully resolved," he said.
