Given the government's decision, the fruits of effective actions against electricity theft began to be seen across the country.
According to the data from January 7 to 14, Rs2.061 billion have been collected from across the country and 261 people have been arrested.
In total, Rs0.986 billion have been collected from Islamabad, Lahore, Faisalabad, and Multan and 153 people have been arrested, while 0.071 billion rupees have been collected from Gujranwala.

Rs0.417 billion were recovered from Peshawar and 47 persons were arrested. A total of 61 persons have been arrested from Hyderabad and Sukkur and Rs0.513 billion rupees have been recovered while Rs0.071 billion rupees were received from Quetta
Rs66.091 billion rupees have been collected since September 1 till now, while many people have been arrested.
The relevant government agencies are determined to continue the crackdown against electricity theft.
