In the aftermath of his triumphant win in Bigg Boss 17, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui has broken his silence on allegations of the season being 'fixed.' Responding to claims that his victory was pre-determined.
The comedian, who emerged as the winner after a riveting 15 weeks inside the Bigg Boss house, addressed the accusations head-on. "Yaar fixed winner ko itna sab go through karna pade toh it can’t be a fixed winner (If one has to go through so much scrutiny as a supposed fixed winner, then it can't truly be a fixed winner)," Munawar Faruqui asserted.
Faruqui highlighted the challenges and scrutiny he faced throughout the season, emphasizing that if he were a 'fixed winner,' he would have had an easier journey. "Pura season gawah hai (The whole season is proof) that I’ve got nothing on a platter, I’ve worked hard and a lot," he added.
Acknowledging the existence of skeptics, especially in the realm of reality shows, Faruqui commented on the impact of having a strong fanbase. "Mujhe lagta hai ye pyaar hai logon ka (I think I won because of people's love)," he expressed, attributing his victory to the support of his fans.
