Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Emir Sirajul Haq on Wednesday resolved to bid farewell to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) if voted into power.
Expressing his thoughts, Haq said, “The victory of the JI will be tantamount to the masses’ victory.’’ He reiterated that, for the sake of political liberty, there was a dire need to revive the country’s economy.
He took a jibe at the political opponents, saying, “The surge in loans had harmed the country. The rulers had made no such hospitals, where they themselves could get medical treatment.”
