Results start pouring in as polling stations across Balochistan's vast terrain drew to a close, vote count has begun in country.
According to the 2023 census, Balochistan, the largest province in terms of area, boasted a population of 14.89 million.
Amongst this populace, the province hosted 5,371,947 registered voters, with 3,016,164 being male and 2,355,783 female voters, respectively.
Total seats
The Balochistan Assembly featured a total of 51 seats, with 11 reserved for women and 3 allocated for non-Muslims.
Furthermore, the province contributed 20 seats to the National Assembly, with 16 being general seats and 4 reserved for women.
Polling stations
In terms of polling infrastructure, a network of 5,026 polling stations was established across Balochistan, with 1,651 earmarked as most sensitive and 2,249 classified as sensitive, ensuring comprehensive coverage and accessibility for voters.
To ensure the seamless execution of the electoral process, a rigorous training program was conducted for 51,379 polling officers and other staff members involved.
Reflecting on past electoral dynamics, the 2018 general elections witnessed the Balochistan Awami Party securing 15 seats, paving the way for governance in the province.
The formation of the government included 4 independent candidates, with representation from 4 women and one non-Muslim seat. Jam Kamal Khan ascended to the role of Chief Minister, marking a significant milestone in the province's political trajectory.

PB-1: JUI candidate Muhammad Nawaz has won with 14,183 votes.
PB-2: JUI candidate Fazal Qadir has won the election with 11,453 votes.
PB-3: Independent candidate Noor Ullah has won with 24,408 votes.
PB-4: PML-N candidate Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran has won with 24,172 votes.
PB-5: PML-N's Muhammad Khan has won with 14,424 votes.
PB-6: PML(N) candidate Masood Ali Khan has won with 10,377 votes.
PB-7: JUI candidate Khalil Ur Rehman has won with 25.256 votes.
PB-8: PPP's Sarfraz Chakar Domki won the election with 27,677 won.
