The repatriation of illegal Afghan immigrants from Pakistan persists as the number of returnees reaches 498,228 by February 25, 2024.
Despite this major milestone, the repatriation process continues without interruption, showcasing ongoing efforts to facilitate the return of Afghan citizens to their homeland.
Between February 19 and February 25, a total of 5,368 Afghan citizens, comprising 1,764 men, 1,120 women, and 2,484 children, have repatriated from various cities across Pakistan.

This large number of returnees highlights the determination of Afghan nationals to return to their country despite challenges and uncertainties.
The repatriation effort has seen the deployment of 212 vehicles, facilitating the return journey for 237 families. This logistical support underscores the collaborative efforts between Pakistani and Afghan authorities to ensure a smooth and organized repatriation process.
