He underscored the importance of advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and deepening the strategic partnership between the two nations for mutual prosperity.
Meanwhile, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council also joined in extending felicitations to the newly-elected Prime Minister, further affirming China's commitment to fostering closer collaboration with Pakistan.
Shehbaz Sharif, the President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), clinched victory for the second time by securing 201 votes in the National Assembly.
