Punjab Assembly Speaker Malik Ahmad Khan has expressed confidence in the ability of PPP leader Asif Ali Zardari to lead with wisdom and understanding once he wins the presidential election.
Drawing a comparison with the tenure of former president, Speaker Khan criticized Dr Arif Alvi's handling of constitutional matters, citing his actions that led to the dissolution of the assembly.
"Asif Ali Zardari, after being elected president, will handle the affairs with understanding," stated Speaker Khan speaking to the media outside the Punjab Assembly ahead of the presidential election, emphasizing his belief in Zardari's capability to navigate the political landscape effectively.

Expressing optimism about the future under Zardari's leadership, Khan asserted, "I am sure that the election of Asif Zardari will be a great success for the country and the nation."
