The Punjab government has allocated Rs440 million per annum for the Air Ambulance project and work has been started on launching air ambulances for critical patients of Punjab.
Air Ambulance stations will be built in Mianwali, Multan, and Bahawalnagar.
Rescue 1122 will hire two aircraft for Air Ambulance.
Critically ill patients will be shifted to nearby hospitals by air ambulance. Air ambulance stations will be established in Rawalpindi and Mianwali while air ambulance stations will be built in Multan and Bahawalnagar in South Punjab.
“The estimate of the project may increase after a year,” sources in the Punjab government.
