The exodus of illegal Afghans from Pakistan has soared, with a total of 513,506 individuals having departed as of March 12, 2024, marking a major milestone in ongoing repatriation efforts.
In the span from March 2 to March 12 alone, a substantial contingent of Afghan citizens, comprising 3,254 men, 2,547 women, and 4,444 children, bid farewell to Pakistan, contributing to a total of 10,245 individuals returning to their homeland.
Highlighting the scale of the operation, 365 families, accompanied by 400 vehicles, have successfully made the journey back to Afghanistan, underscoring the concerted efforts to facilitate the safe return of Afghan nationals.
The robust repatriation campaign underscores the commitment of both Pakistan and Afghanistan to address the issue of illegal migration and ensure the welfare and safety of affected individuals and families.
