Renowned Pakistani singer Sajjad Ali had paid a tribute to Ustad Salamat Ali Khan by singing a rendition of the latter's composition, "Zamana".
The 57-year-old had uploaded a musical video to his official YouTube channel to leave his audience in awe.
In the video description, Sajjad wrote, "Here's my new single, Zamana. Salamat Bhai was graciously open to the idea of creating a new rendition. A humble attempt."
"I have always loved this composition. The composition is simple, yet heart-touching poetry. I hope you all enjoy it," he added.
Sajjad is known for his consistency and regularity. The maestro has trust on his dedicated musical listeners, which leads him to ensure the quality, he has offered them for so many years.
It was in 1979 that Sajjad stole the limelight, only at the age of 13. Since then, he has ensured not to not disappoint the listeners. He had released many albums including "Cinderalla", "Chahar Balish", "Rangeen" and "Wachan".
Apart from studio albums, Sajjad has also sung many original soundtracks (OSTs). He had also sung the drama soundtracks of "Mere Khuda", "Saheliyaan" and "Meri Beti".
In 2022, Sajjad released his new album, "Aatish".
Sajjad had also shown his interest in collecting the diecast model vehicles during his interview to Suneel Munj in 2023.
