Amid the brewing escalation between Canada and India, the statement of Gaurav Arya - an unofficial Indian government spokesperson - has stirred up significant concern regarding the safety of pro-Khalistan Sikh activists residing in Canada.
The statement alleges that the Indian military establishment is planning actions targeting Khalistani activists on Canadian soil.
The controversy follows closely on the heels of accusations made by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who claimed that Canada's national, Hardeep Singh Nijjar, was killed by Indian agents due to his involvement in the Khalistan Referendum campaign within Canada.
These allegations have raised tensions between the two nations, with Trudeau demanding answers from the Indian government regarding Nijjar's death.
Gaurav Arya, who has gained notoriety for his statements, made these assertions during one of his videos, where he hinted at a brewing conspiracy.
He claimed that after the controversial death of Hardeep Singh Nijjar, there are alleged plans underway, and he predicted that one or two prominent Khalistani leaders could meet untimely fates in the coming days.
