A former Indian diplomat, Deepak Vohra, has made startling claims about Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's recent visit to the G-20 summit.
Amid escalating diplomatic tensions between India and Canada, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on last Monday said that they had credible evidence linking Indian agents to the murder of Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar in June. This prompted an angry denial from New Delhi.
On September 19, the Indian government summoned the High Commissioner of Canada to convey its decision regarding expulsion of a senior Canadian diplomat stationed in India.
This diplomat was given a five-day notice to depart from India.
Meanwhile, the United States (US) on last friday also told India to cooperate with Canada's investigation into the murder.
"We are deeply concerned about the allegations raised by Prime Minister Trudeau," US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said in a press briefing on Friday. "It is important that India work with Canada on this investigation. We want to see those responsible held accountable."

Now, according to Vohra, sniffer dogs at the airport detected cocaine on Trudeau's plane, leading to speculation about the Canadian leader's condition during the high-profile event.
