The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) said overseas Pakistanis remitted $2.80 billion in April, 28 percent more, than in comparison to April 2023.
In 10 months of this year, overseas Pakistanis sent $23.80 billion.
Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia topped the list with $712 million in April. $540 million was remitted from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and $403 million from the U.K.
The State Bank has released the statistics on the receipt of remittances.
