The Pakistan Army organised a one-day free medical camp in the village of Khrko, district Ghanche, Gilgit-Baltistan. The camp was staffed by 26 doctors and paramedical personnel from the Army Medical Corps.
During the camp, over 1,500 patients received medical treatment, including 425 men, 627 women, and 363 children.
The medical camp provided treatment for various ailments, including allergies, flu, stomach issues, high blood pressure, diabetes, joint pain, back pain, skin diseases, and general weakness. Patients received routine medical and dental check-ups, ECGs, laboratory investigations, portable dental X-rays, minor OT procedures, patient care, medicines, dressings, and wound care facilities.
The local population appreciated the Pakistan Army's selfless efforts and praised their dedication to public welfare. The Army is committed to organising more such medical camps in the future to benefit the people of Gilgit-Baltistan.
