An important meeting took place between Minister of Privatization and Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and Japanese Ambassador Wada Mitsuhiro, focusing on enhancing mutual cooperation and investment opportunities.
During the meeting, Abdul Aleem Khan expressed his enthusiasm to boost cooperation with Japan, acknowledging the country’s potential as a valuable partner.
The Japanese ambassador praised Pakistan’s policy measures and reiterated Japan's support for the nation's development.
The minister informed the ambassador about the ongoing privatization process, aiming to privatise all state-owned enterprises except strategic ones. He assured investors of all possible facilities, emphasizing Pakistan's suitability for investment.
“Pakistan offers a favorable environment for investment, and we are committed to providing necessary facilities to investors,” Abdul Aleem Khan said.
The minister thanked the Japanese ambassador and government for their continuous support, reaffirming Pakistan's commitment to fostering strong relations with Japan.
