Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz returned on Tuesday to Pakistan from London.
Her return followed her departure from London to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Monday night.
During her six-day stay in London, Ms Nawaz held meetings with various delegations at Hassan Nawaz's office and also visited a university in London as part of her daughter's admission process.
She had an important meeting with former prime minister Nawaz Sharif during her stay in London.
Upon her arrival at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Ms Nawaz was welcomed by enthusiastic PML-N workers who chanted slogans in favour of her and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif.
Following her return to Pakistan, Maryam Nawaz is set to participate in Nawaz Sharif's reception programmes scheduled to begin on Wednesday and will also oversee the preparations for the reception.
– Brought to justice –
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif on Friday that former army chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa, Gen Faiz Hameed, Saqib Nisar, and Asif Saeed Khosa should be brought to justice.
PML-N leaders headed to London had held a meeting with Nawaz Sharif and former prime minister Shehbaz Sharif. Prominent among those who attended the meeting were PML-N Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz and former finance minister Ishaq Dar.
On the occasion, Nawaz Sharif rued, “The country that was leading towards prosperity was harmed through a plot in 2017. Those who were part of the conspiracy against the country should be brought to justice.”
