Bollywood star Sonakshi Sinha has addressed the rumours swirling about her supposed pregnancy following her recent marriage to Zaheer Iqbal.
The speculation began after the couple was spotted leaving Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital just two days after their wedding.
Sonakshi Sinha, known for her candidness, responded to these rumours in a recent interview with Indian media. "Can’t I even go to the hospital now?" she quipped, ridiculing the conjecture.
"The only change in my life after marriage is that now I can’t go to the hospital because if I go with Zaheer, people will assume that we are expecting a child," the actress added, shedding light on how the public's scrutiny has intensified post-marriage.
Expressing her contentment, Sonakshi said she feels fortunate to be married to Zaheer Iqbal. Sharing moments from their honeymoon in Singapore, she revealed that fans celebrated their union by gifting them pastries. "It was very heartwarming to see that everyone was happy about our marriage," she remarked.
The couple, who had been dating for seven years, tied the knot on June 23 in a private ceremony attended by family and close friends. Sonakshi shared that fans approached them, mentioning they had watched the wedding videos, making her feel that everyone had a part in their celebration.
