Pakistan spinner Usman Qadir on Tuesday expressed readiness to play the red-ball cricket apart from the limited overs cricket.
Expressing his thoughts, Qadir said: "I will get help by playing first-class cricket. It is my job to perform whenever I get the opportunity." He underlined the importance of the fitness of the player in competitive cricket.
"I have performed well in the domestic season. I had also got a breakthrough in the only match I played in the last season," Qadir added.
Stressing the importance of power-hitting abilities in modern-day cricket, Qadir said: "I do practice my batting skills in the nets, where I am also focused on the power-hitting."
"It is a matter of immense joy to represent Pakistan in the international circuit. There is no regret to leave Australian shores," he added.
He said: "It is not my job to talk about the performance of Shadab Khan.".
Speaking about the practice match between Pakistan Whites and Pakistan Greens, Qadir said: "I have had fun playing in the intra-squad match."
