Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) has approved the construction of modern Funland themed areas in two of Lahore's parks.
The new attractions will be built in Greater Iqbal Park and Jilani Park — previously known as Race Course Park.
PHA said the authority is dedicated to providing world-class tourism and entertainment opportunities, and these modern Finlands will offer citizens world-class swings and recreational facilities.
PHA Director General Muhammad Tahir has approved the plan, with construction set to begin in 2024. Further, he claimed the authority reported a profit of Rs2.5 billion in the last financial year.
