The number of tourists visited the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has been increased in 2023 in comparison to last year.
Despite the economic difficulties, a large number of tourists visited the picturesque mountains.
A new record of tourists has now been set as tourists flock KP mountains to see the waterfalls, rivers and charming lakes falling from a height.
KP tourism department, 8.8 million tourists visited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the year 2022—more than 1.11 million tourists visited the province in 2022.
As per the KP data, 3.5 million tourists camped in Naran and Kaghan, while more than 3.4 million tourists camped in Galiat.
Officials of the tourism department say that special measures were taken the province to promote tourism, including the introduction of new places. It is said that number of foreign tourists is also increasing continuously.
