PDMA spokesperson said the water flow is continuously increasing due to rains in the mountainous areas of Koh-e-Sulaiman.
DG PDMA Irfan Kathia has issued instructions to the concerned administration to remain alert.
Dera Ghazi Khan Commissioner and deputy commissioners have been alerted about the situation.
PDMA director general said that staff should be kept alert in emergency control rooms.
Disaster response teams of Rescue 1122 should also be kept on high alert. The stock of petrol and diesel should be in sufficient quantity for rescue operation.
He said to ensure the evacuation of the houses and cattle in the rivers and the provision of food, clean drinking water and other facilities should be ensured in the flood relief camp.
