The persistent rain has also affected train schedules, causing significant delays in departures from Lahore. The recent rains have disrupted the timings of major trains, including the Karakoram, Pak Business Express, and Karachi Express.
The Karakoram Express, which was scheduled to depart for Karachi at 3pm, will now leave at 3:45pm. The Pak Business Express will depart at 5:45pm instead of the originally planned 4pm. Meanwhile, the Karachi Express is set to depart at 9:45pm, a delay from its scheduled 6pm departure.
The Met Department's forecast indicates that the series of rains will persist, suggesting that residents and travellers should be prepared for ongoing weather-related disruptions. Authorities are advising commuters to check for updates on train schedules and to plan their travel accordingly.
