According to her, three armed men approached her and attempted to forcibly drag her into their vehicle at gunpoint. Despite the danger, Nimra resisted and ran towards the pavement.
In her video, Nimra expressed her distress, noting that no one nearby came to her aid during the attack. She revealed that the armed men chased her and could have potentially shot her. It was only when she signalled a passing car, with assistance from the family inside and the hotel staff, that she found safety.
Reflecting on the incident, Nimra questioned the safety of women in Pakistan, asking, "If women aren't safe in Pakistan, should we really be celebrating Pakistan Day? Can anyone confidently say that their sister, wife, daughter, or mother is safe in Pakistan? The answer, sadly, is no."
The video has gone viral, drawing widespread sympathy from social media users and prompting calls for authorities to apprehend the perpetrators. The incident has fueled outrage and a demand for stronger measures to ensure the safety of women across the nation.
