Popular Pakistani singer Aima Baig has issued her first statement following a recent health emergency that sparked widespread concern among her fans and the media.
The singer took to Instagram to address the rumors and clarify the nature of her illness.
Baig, who rose to fame with hits like "Baazi" and "Malang," revealed that the incident, which occurred two to three weeks ago, was not a heart attack as initially speculated.
Instead, the singer attributed her health crisis to extreme exhaustion, severe dehydration, and a lack of sleep, which she experienced while traveling extensively for work.
In a message to her followers, Baig expressed her gratitude for the outpouring of support during her difficult time. “I’m extremely overwhelmed by everybody’s concern about my health. I had no idea there are so many people who love and care so much,” she wrote.
