Vivo's upcoming flagship, the X200 Ultra, will debut in China on April 21, according to official company sources. A Vivo executive has released new specification details on social media, confirming several premium features ahead of the launch event.
Vivo X200 Ultra Key Specifications
The X200 Ultra will feature a 2K OLED display with Zeiss branding and Armour glass protection. Powering the device is a substantial 6,000mAh battery supporting 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging capabilities—notably improved from the X100 Ultra's 5,500mAh battery with 80W wired and 30W wireless charging.
Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 8 Elite processor will drive the flagship, alongside Vivo's proprietary V3+ chip and a VS1 imaging processor. The device measures 8.69mm in thickness and incorporates an ultrasonic 3D fingerprint sensor for security.
Han Bo Xiao, Vivo's Product Manager, specifically highlighted the device's photography capabilities, claiming the X200 Ultra surpasses the iPhone 16 Pro Max in low-light time-lapse performance. The improved ultra-wide-angle lens reportedly enables striking 4K resolution time-lapse videos across the full focal range, with advanced recognition of light and shadow variations in different environments.
The smartphone will feature a Zeiss-backed triple rear camera system including a telephoto lens, with an optional Photography Kit available for enthusiasts.
The April 21 launch event will also showcase additional Vivo products, including the X200s smartphone, Vivo Pad 5 Pro, Vivo Pad SE, and Vivo Watch 5.
This announcement follows several weeks of gradual specification reveals by Vivo, building anticipation for their new flagship offering in the premium smartphone segment.
