In response to the escalating gang war in Lahore, local authorities have decided to take strict measures against the notorious Teefi Butt and Tipu Truckanwala groups.
Lahore Police have announced plans to confine the key members and their families to their homes, with a formal request to be sent to the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Lahore for their detention.
According to police officials, the ongoing conflict between the Teefi Butt and Tipu groups has put the lives of innocent civilians at risk due to frequent shootings and violent clashes.
To address the growing threat, active members of both groups have been identified and detained as part of the crackdown.
DIG Imran Kishor, head of the Organized Crime Unit, will be writing a letter to the DC Lahore, recommending that individuals associated with both gangs be confined to their homes. This preventive measure aims to curtail the violence and ensure the safety of citizens in affected areas.
