The Ministry of National Health Services (NHS) on Saturday formulated a strategy to control the situation of dengue across the country.
According to the details, the surveillance teams had been doubled for the prevention of dengue during the monsoon. 500 sanitary workers will also render the services for the surveillance till the end of the dengue season.
Federal Secretary of Health Nadeem Mehboob said: "More than 200 lady health workers are giving awareness to the people about the dengue through a door-to-door campaign."
"93 cases of dengue cases have been reported in the ongoing year," the federal health secretary said.
Mehboob made it clear that the situation of dengue is being monitored on a regular basis.

Few days back, it was reported that a four-year-old girl died of dengue virus in Rawalpindi and as per the health department, this is the first death due to dengue this season.
According to the provincial health department, the girl who died due to dengue belonged to Kaler Syedan.
Fourteen more people have been diagnosed with dengue in the last 24 hours, while 25 patients are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
According to the data of the health department, 96 dengue patients have recovered and returned home during this season
