Mild earthquake tremors were felt across several regions in northern Pakistan, including Chitral and Upper Dir, early on Monday morning.
Pakistan's Seismological Center recorded the earthquake at a magnitude of 4.5 on the Richter scale.
The tremors, which caused brief panic among residents, were also felt in other areas such as Malakand, Bathkela, Swat, Mingora, and Shangla. Fortunately, no immediate reports of damage or casualties have been received.
According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake had a depth of 151 kilometers, with its epicenter located in the Hindukush mountain range, a region known for seismic activity.
