The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) decided to stage a power show in Jhang on October 13 (Friday).
Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Wednesday, IPP Spokesperson Firdous Ashiq Awan said that her party will leave no stone unturned in terms of standing by the masses.
‘’We will not leave the masses, who are facing severe economic hardships, in isolation,’’ she added.
Speaking about the objective of her party, Firdous said, ‘’The core of the IPP’s politics is to stabilise the country’’.
– Calls for national unity –
Firdous expressed her party's desire to promote national unity.

Addressing the ceremony of distributing relief funds in Pakpattan, Firdous praised IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen, saying, “The IPP leadership heads to Pakpattan to stand by the flood-stricken people.
“We are on the mission to serve humanity. Jahangir Khan Tareen comes here to serve the people. We are political people, and our job is to win in the political arena,” Ms Awan asserted.
She bemoaned the ballooning inflation, saying, “The masses are facing a severe economic crunch due to the red-hot inflation.”
– Believes in democracy –
Ms Awan said on Tuesday that her party believes in democracy.
Addressing a press conference, Firdous said, "It is at the top of our priorities to address the masses’ problems."
Speaking about the flood-hit people, Firdous said: "IPP patron-in-chief Jahangir Khan Tareen has extended his support to the flood-stricken people. The IPP will continue to stand by the flood-hit people."
Meanwhile, expressing his thoughts following the party’s CEC meeting, IPP leader Ishaq Khakwani said: "The general elections should be held after the delimitations. Our party represents the masses’ expectations in the real context."
