The threat of the Congo fever continues to loom in the country as Quetta reported another Crimean-Congo hemorrhagic fever virus case on Saturday.
According to details, the 28-year-old woman had suffered from Congo fever. The patient was receiving treatment from Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital.
The district hospital said that it was confirmed in the test report that a woman, who belongs from Hazara Town, was suffering from the Congo fever.
It was reported that the patient was admitted to the isolation ward at the hospital.
The total number of cases reached 34. Out of which 9 succumbed to the Congo fever.
Few days back, Quetta reported another two cases of the Crimean-Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF).
According to details, two of the suspected patients, were receiving treatment at the Fatima Jinna Hospital's isolation ward, contacted the Congo fever.
Dr Muhammad Ali said: "Two days ago, two patients succumbed to Congo fever."
"Nine patients have succumbed to the Congo fever in Balochistan in the ongoing year," Ali added.
