Security forces eliminated eight terrorists in the Razmak area of North Waziristan district in a successful intelligence-based operation conducted overnight on September 25 and 26.
The operation targeted a reported presence of terrorists.
According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation led to an intense exchange of fire between security forces and the terrorists. "As a result of the confrontation, eight terrorists were sent to hell," the statement confirmed.
During the operation, security forces recovered weapons and ammunition from the terrorists, who were reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities, including attacks on security personnel and targeted killings of innocent civilians.
Sanitization efforts are underway in the area to ensure no remaining militants are hiding, as security forces continue their mission to eradicate terrorism from the region.
The ISPR reiterated the resolve of the armed forces to eliminate the menace of terrorism and ensure peace across the country.
