The Punjab government decided on Friday to conduct the health survey to obtain the data pertaining to the diseases.
According to details, Punjab Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir had chaired a meeting pertaining to the health reforms in Lahore. On this occasion, the matters related to the delivery of the medicines to the patients’ house were underscored.
Nazir said: “The record of delivering free medicines to the patients’ house had been digitized.
“The free home delivery medicine had been made part of the health reforms’ roadmap,” he stated.
Nazir stated: “The free medicines had been dispatched to over 85,000 patients from May onwards.”

Last month, the provincial government was looking to control the situation of dengue in the country.
According to details, Provincial Health Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir and deputy commissioner on Thursday chaired the meeting of the dengue emergency response. The pilot project had been started in line with the recruitment of 170 volunteers in Shalimar Town.
Expressing his thoughts, Nazir said: "The dengue volunteers will brief the masses about dengue. The volunteers will also be recruited in other towns as well."
"All the departments should have to nominate the focal person for the activities against controlling the dengue," he added.
Nazir said: "We will have to remain alert to control the spread of dengue following the recent rainfall in the country.".
