Heavy rain lashed various areas of Lahore, bringing much-needed relief from the heat and congestion. Areas like Model Town, Faisal Town, Gulberg, Akbar Chowk, Jail Road, Gurumangat Road, Kalma Chowk, and FC College have all experienced showers.

In other parts of Punjab, Hafizabad, Pindi Bhattian, and Tandlianwala have also experienced heavy downpours. The weather has significantly cooled, with Hafizabad recording a temperature of 23 degrees Celsius. However, water accumulation has been reported in low-lying areas, particularly in Pindi Bhattian.
Sialkot also saw rain, creating pleasant weather conditions across the city and its surroundings. Monsoon showers have similarly affected Khanqah Dogran, with reports of heavy rainfall making the weather cooler.
Elsewhere in Punjab, significant rainfall was recorded in Faisalabad (64mm), Sheikhupura (42mm), Sargodha (25mm), Chakwal (22mm), Mandi Bahauddin (22mm), and Sahiwal (9mm). Murree, Narowal, Jhang, Kasur, Joharabad, and Okara also experienced light to moderate rainfall.
The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) of Punjab has issued an alert in response to the widespread rainfall, cautioning that the spell of monsoon rains is expected to continue until October 1.
